Stone is a village in the DA postcode area of north Kent, sitting between Dartford and Greenhithe near the Bluewater shopping centre. The area has been transformed in recent decades with new housing developments and commercial sites built on former quarry and industrial land, but the original village core remains with its church, older houses and a distinct identity. The mix of new-build estates and older village properties creates different pest challenges side by side.
